2. How the online donation works
Online donations can be made 24 hours a day through the Paynow service provided by mBank S.A. The donor is redirected to the payment environment in order to complete the payment using an available method, including online transfer, BLIK, payment card or electronic wallet, where such a method is currently offered by the operator.
The payment service itself is provided on the separate terms and privacy information made available by the payment operator and the bank during the payment flow.
3. What data may be processed
In connection with an online donation we may process in particular:
- identification and contact data made available to the Organiser during the payment process, if such data is provided to us;
- the donation amount, transaction identifier, payment date and transaction status;
- technical and security data related to operating the website and preventing abuse;
- data necessary to handle complaints, refund requests or questions raised by the donor.
4. Purposes and legal bases
Personal data related to online donations is processed for the following purposes:
- handling the donation and confirming the transaction - Article 6(1)(b) GDPR;
- accounting, tax and reporting obligations, where applicable - Article 6(1)(c) GDPR;
- handling complaints, refunds, enquiries and defending claims - Article 6(1)(f) GDPR;
- ensuring payment and website security and preventing abuse - Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Using online payment is not treated as separate consent to personal data processing. Personal data is processed because it is necessary to handle the payment, settlements and the Organiser's legal obligations.
5. Recipients of the data
Personal data may be disclosed to entities supporting donation handling, including the Paynow payment operator, mBank S.A., hosting providers, technical support providers, accounting, legal and administrative service providers, and competent public authorities where disclosure is required by law.
The payment operator and the bank may process personal data under their own regulatory duties and their own privacy rules presented during the payment flow.
6. Retention period
Donation-related data is not kept longer than necessary to complete the payment, maintain settlements, handle complaints and refunds, comply with legal obligations and defend claims. Financial documents and records may need to be retained for the period required by accounting and tax law.
7. Complaints and refund requests
- Every donor has the right to submit a complaint concerning a donation.

- The complaint should contain data allowing the matter to be identified, a description of the issue and the requested resolution.
- The Foundation responds without undue delay and no later than within 14 days of receiving the complaint.
- A refund request may be submitted within 7 days of making the donation by sending an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the subject line “DONATION REFUND”. If the refund is accepted, the funds will be returned no later than within 60 days from the request.
8. Donor rights
Donors have the rights provided by the GDPR, including the right to access their data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office.

9. Final provisions
The Organiser may update this notice and the donation-handling rules where required by legal, organisational or technical changes. The current version is published on masterspl.com together with the date of the latest update.
