1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1 These Regulations apply to all Participants in Masters Tournaments organised by FUNDACJA "MASTERS-OLIMPIC POLSKA" (each hereinafter referred to as a "Participant"). Clauses 11.3.1–11.7, 12.9–12.12 and 12.15–12.16 also apply, as appropriate, to Referees who have accepted an appointment to officiate Masters Tournaments.

1.2 These Regulations set out the conditions of participation and the rules of conduct for Tournament Participants, including in particular provisions governing:

1.2.1 the conditions of participation in the Tournament;

1.2.2 the obligations of Tournament Participants;

1.2.3 the rights of Tournament Participants;

1.2.4 the liability of Tournament Participants for conduct inconsistent with these Regulations.

2. OBJECTIVES AND TASKS

2.1 Selection of the best players.

2.2 Promotion of table tennis.

2.3 Improvement of players' skills.

2.4 Identification of sporting talent.

2.5 Promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

3. TOURNAMENT ORGANISATION

3.1 The Tournaments referred to in Section 4 are organized and administered by FOUNDATION "MASTERS-OLIMPIC POLSKA", with its registered office at ul. Główna 1, 05-126 Rynia, Poland, KRS: 0001022588, NIP: 9522239006, REGON: 524753840 (hereinafter referred to as the "Organiser").

3.2 Players, coaches and other participants are required to comply with these Regulations in full and to maintain discipline and respect for opponents, Referees and spectators.

3.3 Players are required to sign and comply with the declaration of FOUNDATION "MASTERS-OLIMPIC POLSKA" referred to in Appendix No. 1 to these Regulations.

3.4 President and Vice-President mean the President and Vice-President of the Organiser’s Management Board, respectively. Head Referee means the person appointed by the Organiser to supervise refereeing at the Tournaments.

4. DATE AND PLACE OF TOURNAMENTS

4.1 Tournaments are held from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026 (hereinafter referred to as the "Tournament" or "Competition").

4.2 The following locations are designated as Tournament venues:

• Poland, ul. Główna 1, 05-126 Rynia.
• Poland, Samocice 223, 33-220 Bolesław.

5. FUNDING TERMS

5.1 The Tournaments are financed by FOUNDATION "MASTERS-OLIMPIC POLSKA".

5.2 Players are not required to pay any participation fees for the Tournaments.

5.3 Players bear their own costs related to participation in the Competition, including in particular the purchase of sports equipment or insurance.

6. TOURNAMENT PARTICIPANTS

6.1 Tournament dates are announced through mass communication channels, including radio, television, the press and the Internet.

6.2 Any person who has reached the age of 18 and meets the conditions set out in these Regulations may participate in the Tournament.

6.3 Registration may be made by any method; however, for technical reasons, the Organiser recommends registration via the website https://masterspl.com using electronic registration.

6.4 A person who has obtained confirmation of participation through SMS or WhatsApp correspondence at the number 668 426 995 is deemed authorised to participate in the Tournament.

6.5 If a player withdraws from a Tournament, the Organiser may appoint another Tournament Participant.

6.6 Participation in the Tournament constitutes acceptance of and agreement to comply with these Regulations.

6.7 Participants must have appropriate sports clothing and equipment with them, as well as proof of identity.

7. COURSE OF THE TOURNAMENT

7.1 Tournaments are held in the following categories, depending on the Participants' ranking: Superleague, League A, League B, League C, League D, Women's League A and Women's League B.

7.2 A Tournament may be held at any time from Monday to Sunday.

7.3 Tournaments are conducted in accordance with the table tennis rules approved by ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation).

7.4 Each Tournament involves four Players from each group referred to in this Section.

7.5 The Tournaments consist of the following stages:

Stage 1 - the group stage, in which Players compete on a round-robin basis and the standings are determined by the total number of points obtained under the following system: win = 2 points, loss = 1 point, technical defeat = 0 points (e.g. injury, walkover, disqualification, etc.).

In the event of a tie between two or more Players, a Player's position in the group stage is determined by the following criteria:

• number of sets won;
• difference between sets won and lost;
• number of points scored;
• difference between points won and lost;
• the result of the direct match between the compared Players, but only when comparing two Players.

Stage 2 - the semi-final stage, in which the pairings are determined on the basis of the group-stage results as follows: the Player finishing in 1st place plays the Player finishing in 4th place, and the Player finishing in 2nd place plays the Player finishing in 3rd place.

Stage 3 - the final and the match for 3rd place between the losers of the semi-finals.

7.6 Each match is played until one Player wins four sets.

7.7 If a player is disqualified, removed or withdraws, the Tournament continues. In the event of a player's withdrawal or removal under clause 7.8, the results of matches already played and the points earned remain included in the standings. In the event of disqualification, the player's points are forfeited and are not taken into account when determining the final standings. The Tournament may continue with three players.

7.8 The Organiser may remove a Participant from further participation in the current Tournament if their current playing level differs significantly from that of the group or the course of successive matches indicates a risk of repeated, clearly one-sided matches. The assessment takes into account, in particular, an incorrect assessment of playing level, a prolonged absence from play, a decline in form, injury, illness, fatigue, emotional state and other circumstances affecting the actual ability to compete. Removal applies only to the current Tournament, is an organisational and preventive measure, and does not constitute a disciplinary sanction or a finding of a sporting integrity violation. Prize money for the removed Participant will be paid only for matches played.

8. AWARDS FOR WINNERS

8.1 Each Tournament offers a prize pool. Its amount, the method of awarding it and its distribution among Participants shall be determined by the Organiser no later than 7 days before the start of the relevant Tournament.

8.2 The date on which entitlement to a prize arises is the date on which the official winners are announced or the date on which the Participant is informed of the win.

8.3 Monetary prizes are paid exclusively by bank transfer to the Participant's bank account notified to the Organiser. The account must be denominated in Polish zlotys and held with a domestic bank or a branch of a credit institution operating in the territory of the Republic of Poland, and must allow domestic bank transfers in Poland. The Organiser does not pay monetary prizes in cash, by postal order or into a third party's account.

8.4 The Participant must notify the Organiser without delay of any change to the bank account for payment of the prize. Payment made to the last account notified to the Organiser by the Participant is deemed valid if the Participant did not notify the Organiser of the change before payment was made. If payment cannot be made or is returned because the Participant provided an incorrect, outdated or unavailable bank account, the Organiser will request the Participant to provide a valid account. If the Participant fails to provide a valid account within 14 days of the date on which the request was sent, entitlement to the prize expires.

8.5 To the extent necessary to issue or pay out a prize, the Participant provides the data required by the Organiser to complete the settlement, including data needed to make the transfer, carry out accounting and tax obligations and document the payout. Detailed rules on the processing of such data are set out in the Privacy Policy.

8.6 The taxation of a monetary prize obtained by a Participant in a given Tournament is governed by the applicable tax legislation, in particular Article 21(1)(68) and Article 30(1)(2) of the Personal Income Tax Act of 26 July 1991, or any provisions replacing them. For the purposes of applying the statutory threshold referred to in those provisions, the one-off value of the prize obtained by the Participant in the given Tournament is taken into account. If the prize is taxable under the applicable legislation, the Organiser withholds flat-rate income tax on the entire value of that prize.

8.7 Where a monetary prize is taxable, the Organiser will pay the Participant the prize amount less the flat-rate income tax withheld in accordance with the applicable law.

8.8 Subject to clauses 8.3–8.5, the Tournament Organiser undertakes to pay the monetary prize to the entitled Participant within 45 days of the date on which the Participant becomes entitled to the prize. If the Participant fails to provide an account meeting the requirements of clause 8.3, or provides an incorrect, outdated or unavailable account, the payment period runs from the date on which the Participant provides a valid account.

9. SAFETY AND LIABILITY

9.1 Tournaments are held at a venue adapted for table tennis. The Organiser takes reasonable organisational and technical measures to ensure that the competitions are conducted efficiently and safely.

9.2 The Participant is required to comply with these Regulations, the Organiser's instructions, the venue staff's instructions and the Referees' directions, and to use the venue, equipment and facilities in accordance with their intended purpose.

9.3 Unless the Organiser clearly states otherwise, participation in the Tournament does not include individual insurance for the Participant. The Participant may obtain insurance independently.

9.4 The Participant takes part in the Tournament voluntarily and is responsible for assessing whether their health condition and preparation allow safe participation. If the Participant feels unwell or becomes aware of circumstances that may endanger their own safety or that of others, they should refrain from participating or stop participating and inform the Organiser without delay.

9.5 The Participant should immediately report to the Organiser any hazards, failures or other circumstances that may affect the safe conduct of the Tournament.

9.6 These Regulations do not exclude or limit the Organiser's liability to the extent that such liability arises under mandatory provisions of law and cannot be effectively excluded or limited.

9.7 Subject to clause 9.6, the Organiser is not liable for damage caused exclusively by the fault of the Participant, other Participants or third parties, or arising from the ordinary risks of participating in sport or from events that could not have been prevented despite due care.

9.8 The Organiser is not responsible for property left unattended by Participants unless it has been formally accepted by the Organiser for safekeeping.

9.9 The Participant is liable for damage caused through their fault to other Participants, third parties, the Organiser or the venue where the Tournament is held.

9.10 The Organiser may cancel, interrupt, postpone or change the date, venue or format of the Tournament if justified by safety reasons, decisions of competent authorities, force majeure, technical failure, lack of electricity, connectivity problems or other circumstances beyond the Organiser's reasonable control.

9.11 The Organiser may refuse admission or terminate a Participant's participation if the Participant seriously breaches these Regulations, creates a direct risk to safety or order, or fails to comply with justified organisational instructions.

10. IMAGE USE AND EVENT MEDIA

10.1 The Tournament may be documented in the form of photographs and video recordings taken during the competitions.

10.2 Where publication constitutes event reporting and a Participant's image forms part of the overall competition, audience or documentation of the Tournament, the Organiser may publish such material on masterspl.com and on its social media profiles in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

10.3 If the Organiser wishes to use a Participant's image individually for promotional purposes, in particular in a separate promotional asset, advertisement, event-promo graphic or highlighted publication focused on a specific person, the legal basis for such use will be the Participant's separate consent.

10.4 Withdrawal of the consent referred to above does not affect the lawfulness of the use of the image before the consent was withdrawn.

10.5 Detailed rules on the processing of image data, including the publication period of materials and the Participant's rights, are set out in the Privacy Policy.

10.6 Each Tournament Participant is authorised to:

10.6.1 use television, video and photographic materials showing the course of Tournament play, including the images of Players;

10.6.2 place promotional materials of the Organiser, as well as its sponsors and partners, at Tournament venues;

10.6.3 use Tournament symbols such as logos, emblems, slogans and names approved by the Organiser;

10.6.4 apart from prizes, Participants are not entitled to any further remuneration, in particular for the use of their image, statements or personal data.

11. PROTESTS AND APPEALS

11.1 A Participant may protest against the announced result of a match or of the Tournament by submitting a protest within a maximum of one hour after the end of the Tournament. The protest must be submitted in writing, indicating the provisions of these Regulations that were violated, directly to the Organiser at This email address is being protected from spambots. 11.2 Protests submitted after the deadline indicated in point 11.1 will not be considered.

11.3 Subject to clauses 11.3.1–11.3.4, reported violations not covered by these Regulations are considered by the Organiser's Management Board. Appeals against decisions concerning sporting integrity are governed by clauses 11.4–11.7.

11.3.1 The President makes the decision concluding sporting integrity proceedings after assessing all the material, consulting, where necessary, those responsible for organising the Tournaments, the Head Referee or a sporting expert. Before the decision is made, the person concerned is given an opportunity to provide explanations in writing or orally. Choosing not to use this opportunity does not prevent a decision from being made.

11.3.2 No single automated alert, statistical result, expert opinion, interview finding, polygraph result or other individual source of information independently establishes a violation. Each of these elements is assessed in the context of the whole case.

11.3.3 Where there is a credible and significant threat to the integrity of a Tournament, the Organiser may, before the proceedings are concluded, temporarily suspend a Participant from taking part in Tournaments or a Referee from performing their duties. This is a protective measure and does not constitute a finding of a violation. The person concerned is informed of the measure and the reason for it. The measure is lifted when its grounds cease to exist and, in any event, no later than the conclusion of the proceedings.

11.3.4 Proceedings may conclude with a finding of no violation and closure of the case; a finding of insufficient evidence, without a sanction, with the possibility of continued monitoring; or a finding of a violation and the application of an appropriate sanction provided for in these Regulations.

11.4 Appeal against a disciplinary decision or temporary protective measure. The procedure in clauses 11.4–11.7 applies to disciplinary decisions and temporary protective measures concerning sporting integrity and is separate from protests concerning results under clauses 11.1–11.2.

11.4.1 A Participant may appeal against a decision concerning them that relates to sporting integrity within 3 calendar days of confirmed delivery of the decision and its reasons. The day of delivery is excluded. The deadline expires at the end of the third day, according to Polish time, including when that day is a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday.

11.4.2 Delivery is confirmed when the Participant first opens the full decision in their authenticated account or when receipt by another written means is confirmed. It must explain what the Participant disagrees with, why, and what change they request. New evidence is not required; materials may be supplemented until the appeal decision is issued.

11.5 Review of the appeal

11.5.1 The President decides the appeal or, in the event of a conflict of interest or inability to participate, the Vice-President, followed by the Head Referee. The person deciding the appeal must have no conflict of interest. Where possible, a person who did not prepare the original expert material participates in the analysis.

11.5.2 The decision and its reasons are communicated to the Participant within 7 calendar days, counted from the day after receipt of the appeal. If additional materials are needed, the period may be extended to 14 days in total, with the Participant informed before the original deadline expires. Supplementing the materials or changing the person reviewing the appeal does not restart the period.

11.6 One appeal is allowed against a given decision. Filing an appeal or exceeding the time limit for considering it does not automatically suspend the sanction or temporary protective measure. The President may separately suspend its enforcement. The appeal decision may uphold, amend or revoke the original decision.

11.7 After an appeal has been decided, significant new evidence may be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Within 3 calendar days of its receipt, the President decides whether to reopen the case or gives reasons for refusing to do so. After reopening, the review period specified in clause 11.5.2 applies.

12. REGULATORY PENALTIES

12.1 The Player undertakes not to participate in any form of betting, whether online or offline, involving results (points, sets, matches or other situations) in any Tournament organized by FOUNDATION "MASTERS-OLIMPIC POLSKA". In addition, the Player undertakes to exercise due care to ensure that the Player's relatives or close associates do not place online bets on the results of any Tournament organized by FOUNDATION "MASTERS-OLIMPIC POLSKA".

12.2 Participants are prohibited from using electronic devices, including smartwatches, that are capable of receiving and sending messages. This prohibition applies to the entire venue, including the cloakroom, toilets, corridors, the playing hall and its surroundings.

12.3 Participants are required to report immediately any attempts by third parties to contact them with corrupt proposals.

12.4 Where there are reasonable grounds to suspect that a Participant has taken part in betting, manipulated the result or course of a match, or acted to obtain a financial benefit in connection with a Tournament, the Organiser may offer the Participant a polygraph examination. The examination may be conducted only after the Participant has given separate, informed and voluntary consent, which may be withdrawn before or during the examination. Refusal to undergo the examination or withdrawal of consent does not in itself constitute grounds for a penalty or evidence of a breach of these Regulations. The result of a polygraph examination may be used only as one element of the explanatory proceedings and shall be assessed together with the remaining evidence and the Participant's explanations. A penalty, including temporary or lifetime disqualification, may be imposed after considering all the circumstances of the case and allowing the Participant to provide explanations. Information on the processing of data connected with the examination shall be provided to the Participant before consent is given.

12.5 Participants undertake to refrain from unsportsmanlike conduct that may adversely affect the Referee, the opponent or the reputation of the sport, including:

• showing disrespect to the Referee or the opponent;
• failing to follow the Referee's remarks or instructions;
• using language commonly regarded as offensive or vulgar on the premises;
• making gestures commonly regarded as obscene;
• talking or commenting during the Tournament;
• striking the table, wall or floor with a racket or hand;
• throwing a racket onto the table, floor, net or surrounding wall;
• removing a shirt on the court during a match or during the interval;
• leaving the court without the Referee's permission.

12.6 Any conduct deemed impermissible by the Referee may result in a regulatory penalty in one of the following forms:

• warning;
• first yellow card - PLN 50;
• second yellow card - PLN 50;
• red card - PLN 100.

After the second yellow card, the next sanction is a red card; a third yellow card is not issued.

12.7 A Participant may join the next Tournament only after paying the penalty imposed on them to the Organiser's bank account:

12.8 Penalties and warnings are intended to eliminate any unsportsmanlike conduct.

12.9 A Referee may be granted a bonus for reliable officiating, and a regulatory penalty may be charged for culpable, material and confirmed refereeing errors. Bonuses and regulatory penalties are settled in accordance with the detailed rules provided to the Referee before acceptance of the appointment.

12.10 Confirmation of acceptance of a refereeing appointment, in particular via WhatsApp, appearing to officiate or starting to officiate means acceptance of these Regulations to the extent concerning Referees and of the rules provided to the Referee before acceptance of the appointment. Lack of acceptance means resignation from accepting the appointment.

12.11 Errors resulting from system failure, technical problems, actions of Participants, application of fair play principles or other causes beyond the Referee's control are not subject to penalty.

12.12 The detailed bonus and penalty rules, including thresholds, amounts, settlement periods and the method of counting errors, are provided by the Organiser to Referees before acceptance of the appointment, in particular via WhatsApp, in a manner enabling those rules to be stored and reproduced. The Organiser may reduce the amount due to the Referee only after first informing the Referee of the reason and amount of the penalty and enabling the Referee to submit explanations, subject to mandatory provisions of law.

12.13 Agreements between Participants or with third parties concerning a deliberate reduction in genuine competition, an agreed course or result of a match, set or points, reciprocal sporting advantages or simulated competition are prohibited. The prohibition also covers conserving energy through an agreed reduction in competitive effort and prize sharing linked to such a reduction or to an agreed manner of playing a match, regardless of any connection with betting.

12.14 A Participant must make a genuine and honest effort to compete throughout every match. Deliberately giving up, knowingly reducing effort to influence the course or result of play, or intentionally conceding a match, set or points may constitute a sporting integrity violation. A poor result, a one-sided match or a decline in playing level does not, in itself, constitute evidence of a violation. The Organiser distinguishes an inability to compete effectively, particularly due to injury, illness, fatigue or a decline in form, from a deliberate abandonment of genuine sporting effort.

12.15 Referees' sporting integrity obligations:

12.15.1 While officiating a match or present in the immediate playing area, a Referee must not use private phones, smartwatches or other devices enabling electronic communication, unless the Organiser has expressly permitted their use for official purposes.

12.15.2 A Referee must promptly report to the Organiser any attempts to obtain non-public information about a Tournament or match from them where the circumstances may indicate a threat to sporting integrity.

12.15.3 A breach of clauses 12.15.1–12.15.2 may result in the temporary or permanent exclusion of a Referee from officiating Tournaments, following proceedings under clauses 11.3.1–11.3.4 and an opportunity for the Referee to provide explanations.

12.16 Sporting integrity proceedings are conducted under clauses 11.3.1–11.3.4, with a right of appeal under clauses 11.4–11.7.

13. FINAL PROVISIONS

13.1 Interpretation of these Regulations rests exclusively with the Organiser.

13.2 Participants declare that all personal data entered in the registration form is complete and accurate.

13.3 Participants undertake to comply with these Regulations and the conditions of participation. Submission of the registration form confirms that the Participant has read and fully accepts the terms of participation in the Tournament.

13.4 The Participant acknowledges that, due to the public nature of the competitions, the Organiser publishes on masterspl.com the basic sports data related to participation in the Tournament, in particular the Participant's name and surname, entry list, table assignment, match results, ranking, statistics and classifications. Detailed rules on the processing of such data, including the publication period and the Participant's rights, are set out in the Privacy Policy.

13.5 Lack of knowledge of these Regulations does not release the Participant from the obligation to comply with the rules laid down by the Organiser.

13.6 The Appendices form an integral part of these Regulations.

13.7 If any provision of these Regulations is contrary to law, that provision shall be invalid without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.

13.8 The Regulations may be amended by the Organiser at any time. Any amendments to the Regulations, notices and directives will be announced by publication on the Organiser's website at https://masterspl.com.

13.9 Subject to the procedures in section 11, decisions of the Organiser and Referees are final within the internal procedure. This does not restrict rights provided by law.

13.10 In the event of any dispute, the court having jurisdiction over the Organiser's registered office shall have jurisdiction to hear the case.
